Regular journal-keeping and hands-on observatories are a crucial component of this course. We will be reading examples drawn from contemporary North American literature, including Jamaica Kincaid, Michael Ondaatje, George Saunders and others. This course will be in English.
This course will be taught in English, in 4-hour blocks over four weeks (November 16 ¿ December 7). Expect interactive group activities, in-class writing prompts and brief craft lectures.
